After months of hard work, we're finally open to the public. We are still adding more banks (starting in the Louisville, KY region) to our lender network, but we’ve started accepting loans and banks will start bidding on these loans in mid-February. Have an existing business loan? Find out if another bank can save you money with a better rate by entering your existing loan information. Also, If you need some money to expand or stay afloat, simply enter in your desired loan amount and some current financial figures to find your match. Since the site is live, please poke around and give us feedback. Picasa Photo Credit: Meidy

In addition to trying to maintain our company blog, we're using Twitter to share links and updates to those who use the popular microblogging service. Since Kevin, Rita and I each individually use Twitter somewhat regularly (ok.. I'm addicted), please follow @MoneyPath to get our latest updates.

I know for those unfamiliar with the service it can seem like a waste of time, but I've found it's great for finding interesting news and connecting with new folks. If you're already on Twitter and you see something we should know about, just type @MoneyPath and the message and we'll be sure to check it out.

Don't Search Out Rejection

Sunday, 18 January 2009 00:00

It's too bad that Decorize, Inc. of Springfield, Mo. didn't know about MoneyPath before beginning its search for a loan.

Springfield Business Journal (SBJ) reports that the CEO of the local home furnishing wholesaler spoke with five different local banks with no luck of acquiring a lender. Either the banks weren't interested or the interest rates weren't practical.

SBJ editor, Eric Olson said "It's a really interesting situation where we have this small business that's anxious to expand and just needs a line of credit to do so, but (Decorize, Inc. is) hitting road blocks out there in the market.”

Well, I think it's a really interesting situation that so much time could be saved for businesses in this situation with the use of MoneyPath. Who knows how many weeks that CEO spent meeting with these banks only to either be turned away or be given an unfeasible offer.

With lenders and businesses both becoming more particular, matching is bound to be very particular. It’s not impossible to get a commercial loan right now, but the process is likely to be longer with some higher obstacles. MoneyPath's matching system is the perfect tool to get you over those obstacles. Don't spend your time searching out banks who are going to reject you. Let MoneyPath tell you which banks want you.
